On Friday, July 1 The Hound Dog Band and The Ox get together for gigs at Summerfest in the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Stage & Pavilion.
The Hound Dog Band – Sam Friedman, Mark Saichek, Ed Sison, Brad Seip, Randy Monaghan, Fred Bliffert, Tony Brown and Bob Knetzger – plays at 6 p.m., and The Ox – Jon Paris, Bob Metzger, Brad Seip and Ed Sison – follows at 8 p.m.
Music reunion: July 2nd: Shank Hall
The following night, head over to Shank Hall at 8 p.m. to see The Last Polka, starring The East Side All Stars. You may remember some of these legendary cats from their reunion gig last year at Shorewood High School. Admission is $20.
Dynamite Duck – with Jon Paris and James Solberg, Mark Lillis and Jeff Hilgert – will perform, along with guests Jim Liban and Junior Brantley. Also on hand and on stage will be Jerry Harrison, Bob Metzger, Fred Bliffert, Ed Sison, Brad Seip, Sam Friedman, Mark Saichek, Tony Brown, Randy Monaghan and Bob Knetzger.

Class of 1941 70th Reunion: The class of 1941 will hold their 70th reunion Wed. & Thurs. Sept 21st and 22nd. Our attendees will stay at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel on Brown Deer Road. There will be a reception and Dinner at the Town Club Wednesday and a brunch at Hubbard Park Lodge on Thursday.
Currently we have 64 remaining and preliminary projection is for maximum attendance of 30..and counting!

Class of 1950: (updated 3/10/10) The Shorewood Class of 1950 is planning a 60th Reunion on Saturday October 2, 2010.
A dinner is being planned to be held at the Town Club in Fox Point.
And guess what - we're sharing the Town Club with the Whitefish Bay Class of 1950. We assume all will remain calm! Actually, we think this will be great fun and it will help keep expenses down. Friday: If you are joining us for the football game, it starts at 7:00pm and tickets can be purchased at the field for $3.00. The weather's looking great, so come out and join us by the "Class of '85" sign. If you can't make the game, we'll see you at Hubbard Park Lodge, 3565 N. Morris Blvd. (where Menlo and Morris meet) at 9:00pm. Please park in the parking lot, walk through the tunnel, and follow the path to your right to the second building. $25/person, $40/couple if you haven't paid in advance.
Saturday: Meet at the Shorewood Village Pub- 4488 N. Oakland Ave. (near the corner of Kensington and Oakland) from 7:00pm.
(Also, the Shorewood Alumni Association would like us to pass along the following information: the Homecoming Parade will begin in the SHS parking lot at 5:00 on Friday, so please feel free to attend (and see if these kids have any float building skills!) In addition, if you played in the band "back in the day" and would like to bring your instrument and play the "SHS Fight Song" with the current band in the parade or during the game, they would love to have some alumni participation.)

Past Reunion Information:
Class of 1949: The class of 1949 held their 60th reunion on Friday, July 31, 2009 at the North Shore Country Club in Mequon. A delicious luncheon was served and great memories were shared. On the following day, another get together was held for those who attended Lake Bluff School. More enjoyment was had! Some of us even went on to the University of Wisconsin, Madison together and a few of us were in the same dorm, the Villa Maria! During the evenings of that weekend, many of us from out of state got together with classmates who were close and caught up on each other's lives. Class of 1959: Class of 1959 held its 50th reunion last summer, and it was quite successful. We prepared a 130-page reunion book with color photos.
